Zusammenfassung:Recently, Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technique using a Radio Frequency (RF) signal has been attracting much attention to sustain the lifetime of wireless Internet of Things (IoT) devices. When a power transmission RF signal operates in the same or near the frequency band as a data signal, it may decrease communication performance. In this letter, we have proposed a novel protocol that enables data transmission and power transmission to coexist by using the characteristics of spatial diversity of wireless power transmission with beamforming technology. Also, a station in need of power can actively request power to the Power Beacon (PB). Our protocol not only increases throughput but also reduces wasted energy compared with the conventional one.
