Simulations of spatial dynamics in vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser arrays

The transverse mode dynamics of vertical cavity laser arrays (VCSEL) are modeled by an approximation to the Maxwell-Semiconductor Bloch equations. The interaction between array elements as a function of their separation is studied.
