Ion irradiation and reduction effects in LiNbO/sub 3/ single crystals

The authors present investigation results of the ion bombardment influence and thermal treatment on the efficiency of the conductive layers formation in LiNbO/sub 3/ crystals. The results indicate the importance of surface stoichiometry and MgO doping effects.
