A method for FIR filter design based on quantization and PI technique
This paper presents a method for narrow-band filter design based on the quantization of the coefficients of a prototype filter and the pipelining/interleaving (PI) technique. The proposed method leads to a saving in the number of multipliers, which increases with reduction of the transition width.
