Zusammenfassung: | This Letter examines optimal capacity allocation schemes in multi-beam high-throughput satellite systems exploiting the smart gateway diversity setup. Considering user beams' requested and gateways' offered capacities, we propose theoretically optimal, based on Monge arrays, different capacity allocation schemes for maximization of minimum and total system's satisfaction ratios. These schemes have low complexity based on appropriate sorting of offered and requested capacities. Furthermore, theoretical analysis results in the dilemma of giving priority to the performance, considering satisfaction ratio, of total system or individual pairs. Finally, simulations confirm proposed schemes' optimality presenting their identical performance with the more complicated exhaustive mechanisms. |
