Faculty attitudes towards teaching, technology and thermodynamics

Summary for only given. In trying to meet the ABET 2000 requirements, universities have an opportunity to reflect upon what they are doing to educate their students. To help with this process, one needs to look across institutions to try to understand what are the common challenges that professors face in their classrooms. In this presentation, the author discusses the results of an attitude survey of over 100 mechanical engineering professors who teach thermodynamics, both in the United States and abroad.
