Zusammenfassung:This presentation is designed for engineering faculty and administrators who have questions concerning and coping with their role in students' transitions into the workplace. Interactive discussion and nonscripted simulations on angry student responses, evaluation procedures, authority vs. leadership and gender-sensitive issues are considered. Discussion supports actions that enhance faculty members' knowledge of the emerging classroom issues that parallel a student's successful future in the workplace.
