Magnetization processes in partially crystallized Co-based metallic glass
It is well known that coercivity, He, scales with the grain size, D, and for conventional magnets the scaling relation is of the form Ho,∞ 1/D. However, the invention of nanocrystalline extremely soft magnets (known under their trade name FINEMET) has shown that the coercivity of these materials, in...

Zusammenfassung: | It is well known that coercivity, He, scales with the grain size, D, and for conventional magnets the scaling relation is of the form Ho,∞ 1/D. However, the invention of nanocrystalline extremely soft magnets (known under their trade name FINEMET) has shown that the coercivity of these materials, in which the grain (crystallite) size is much smaller than the correlation length for ferromagnetic exchange interaction, scales as Hc, ∞ D6 (see, e.g.[1]). |
