Zusammenfassung:Coupling slots are used for construction of microwave transformers for the measuring devices of waveguide transmission line parameters, small directional couplers, travelling-wave resonators, directional filters, couplers of circular polarization and other devices. The coupling slot, cut through in the broad wall of a rectangular waveguide, must excite the electromagnetic waves independently from the frequency phase displacement between them. In a wide frequency band quasi-fixed phase displacement provides the selection of optimum geometrical slots parameters: distance between slots centers, transversal co-ordinate centers, inclination corner. However, at slotting the received parameters can differ sufficiently from the calculated ones. Consequently phase displacement will change and the parameters of microwave devices will deteriorate. A means which defines the permissible deviations of these parameters but does not change essentially the phase displacement nor degrade the devices parameters, is necessary. The modern technology of microwave device production make it possible to achieve such significant manufacturing tolerances.
