Zusammenfassung: | Various factors should be optimised in the MLS (maximum length sequence) technique in order to obtain the best results. This paper analyses two of these factors, synchronisation between the start of the excitation signal and of the recording of the response signal used for cross-correlation as well as the stationary sound field setting before the excitation start, that is extended excitation. The results show that the mentioned factors have an important influence on the shape of the obtained impulse response, that is the decay curve, as well as the influence on the signal to noise ratio of these responses, that is the decay range. |
