Zusammenfassung: | An experimental study of potential difference between metals of bcc, hcp, fcc and thbcc crystal structure when placed in water and irradiated by a high intensity pulsed ultrasonic field are reported for metal-water interface. A comparison of the work function, threshold transducer voltage and potential difference at these threshold voltages as well as the maximum potential difference as a function of melting point temperatures of platinum, silver, nickel, copper, lead, tin, cadmium, iron and zinc is reported. The present work is useful for providing fruitful information about the effect of the acoustic cavitation. |
