Zusammenfassung:The desired far-zone scattered field from a resistive strip is determined by synthesizing the distribution of the induced surface current density in the strip using an optimization process. It may be advantageous to automatically control RCS levels of the main lobe and the sidelobes. The synthesis resulted in the appropriate resistance distribution varying transversely on the strip. The optimization is performed to control inherent null points in the RCS pattern formula equivalent to Taylor's space factor.
