Zusammenfassung: | A tendency of growth of the differential phase shift /spl Delta//spl beta/, produced by a circular waveguide, filled with azimuthally magnetized ferrite has previously been established in the case where the outer part of the anisotropic medium is replaced by an isotropic dielectric toroid whose permittivity /spl epsiv//sub d/ exceeds that of the ferrite /spl epsiv//sub r/. The aim of this study is to specify the limits which /spl Delta//spl beta/ may reach, if the /spl epsiv//sub d///spl epsiv//sub r/-ratio gets very large. The boundary-value problem approach, extended with an iterative procedure, is applied, giving the phase characteristics of the structure. |
