Zusammenfassung: | Magnetic hysteresis of rapidly solidified amorphous glass-coated nanowires with nearly zero magnetostriction has been investigated to understand the origin of their bistable behavior. Experimental hysteresis loops and simulated ones have shown that shape anisotropy is responsible for the observed variation of the coercivity values with sample dimensions. The results of this paper provide thorough information about the main contributions to the magnetization reversal mechanism in amorphous nanowires prepared by glass-coated melt spinning. |
