Zusammenfassung: | A high transmission efficiency multichannel wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) based on metal-insulator-metal (MIM) plasmonic waveguides with ring resonators is proposed and investigated numerically. The two-dimensional finite-difference time-domain method was used to simulate the proposed structure. The transmission efficiency of each channel is higher than 86.74%. The simulation results show that the proposed MIM waveguide with ring resonators could really function as a WDM. It would be a potential key component in the applications of the all-optical signal procession and communication systems. |
