Zusammenfassung: | Flexible dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) was demonstrated using water and Teflon dielectric layers at atmospheric pressure. The flexible DBD reactor is composed of copper electrodes and two main dielectric layers of water and Teflon tubes, which cover each electrode inserted in urethane tubes. Since dielectric materials are easy to bend, DBD can be generated in various geometries. In addition, water layer provides the reliable cooling of insulation surface exposed to atmospheric plasma. Therefore, a stable plasma discharge during a long time operation is achieved regardless of the flow rate of plasma forming gas. |
