Zusammenfassung: | The challenge of implementing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system in wireless communication is that the transmitted signal often exhibits a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). The pulse shaping technique is an effective way to reduce PAPR with minimal increase of implementation complexity. This paper proposes a design of FIR pulse shaping filters which is formulated as a quadratic optimisation problem to minimise the weighted mean squared error between the desired target response and the designed filter in the stopband whilst satisfying prescribed peak gain constraints in the passband. The effectiveness of the optimised FIR pulse shaping filter is illustrated by numerical examples. |
