Zusammenfassung: | In the recent years, wireless sensor networks have become one of the most quickly broadened class of systems. Functional output from wireless sensor network is defined by their lifetime; that is why prolonging network lifetime has become the most interesting area for the researchers to work on. In this paper, we have proposed a scheduling algorithm to increase the lifetime of wireless sensor networks that uses the techniques of scheduling sensors through the exchange of genetic members among groups of sensors. The performance of the algorithm was evaluated through simulation. Compared to another scheduling scheme, our simulation shows excellent results. Finally, we have presented additional analyses that show the proposed algorithm effectively extends the lifetime of wireless sensor networks. |
