Zusammenfassung:In recent years, the disruption of metallic shaped-charge jets (SCJ) under the action of a high current passing through them have been actively studied both experimentally and theoretically. In particular, it has been shown that when the magnitude of current, current derivative and the duration of electromagnetic action on the jet exceed certain threshold values, the jet breaks into individual fragments and the jet penetration into the target decreases several fold. This paper reports the results of experiments on disruption of SCJ by the pulse current from a small helical magnetocumulative generator (MCG) and C-80 explosive MCG, which has been commercially produced for a long time. The experiments were performed with 55 mm and 100 mm diameter shaped charges. Data on jet-penetration depth decrease are given. The features of explosive MCG application in experiments on current disruption of SCJ are discussed.
