Zusammenfassung: | The paper presents a mathematical model and simulation results of dynamic characteristics of the single-phase capacitor run induction motor. Bifurcation theory deals with the change of qualitative behavior in a parameter space of dynamical systems. Induction motors are very widely used in domestic and commercial applications. Single phase capacitor run induction motors are commonly used as a drive for fans, pumps and compressors. This paper provides a numerical approach to better understand the dynamic of an induction motor. This paper also attempts to discuss various types of transition to chaos in the induction motor model. The analysis of the obtained bifurcation simulations gives useful guidelines for adjusting control parameter of the induction motor to restrict the operation of the induction motor in period-1 region or make it chaotic for better performance. |
