Zusammenfassung:The current development in the energy sector leads towards decentralized and distributed power generation. The coordination of the small- and medium-scaled distributed energy resources (DER) as well as further energy services will be a major challenge in smart grids. Many operation concepts like the Virtual Power Plant or microgrid operation will contribute to solve these serious problems for grid stability. Open energy management platforms have been established to enable market-based aggregation of services provided by DER for these operation concepts. In order to make the DERs available to all Energy Management Systems in the grid an open, loosely coupled, cross-platform Registry is needed. In this paper we will outline the need of a loosely coupled Distributed Registry as a core component for future Energy Management Systems and propose an idea for a reference architecture for Distributed Registries to find and use DER related services within the smart grid.
