Zusammenfassung:Using 3DTV, we experimentally estimated the relationship between TV viewers' emotional states and selected physiological indices. The results suggest near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), representing central nervous system activity, to be a potentially useful index for evaluating emotional states that include "feeling of involvement." The low frequency/high frequency ratio (LF/HF), which represents sympathetic nervous system activity and emotional state, appears to depend on the type of content. Our results also indicate the potential for improving accuracy of evaluation by combining complex emotional states into a physiological index, and for separately analyzing each group according to participants' preferences.
