Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents a method of generating oxyhydrogen (HHO) gas by utilizing a solar photovoltaic (PV) panel for a vehicle. A 50 W PV panel is used to generate electricity through sun light and powering-up an HHO generator to produce HHO gas. The installation of supplementing the HHO gas into the combustion chamber of four stroke engine is to boost the fuel mixture into complete burning and produces cleaner emission and hence observing the overall engine's fuel consumption. The produced gas is injected into the engine through the air-intake of a 1000cc Daihatsu Charade and a 1500cc Proton Saga cars. Three tests were conducted to observe the fuel consumptions as comparison on each car. The results were analyzed and show that the installed system provides fuel savings of 14.6% to the Proton Saga and 11.34% to the Daihatsu cars in comparing to their normal unmodified conditions. |
