Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, we investigate the use of several different materials in order to calibrate an experimental time-domain microwave imaging system. A 16-element antenna array transmits a specifically tailored, short duration pulse and records the signals scattered off the breast in the time-domain. We contrast the performance of the various calibration procedures on extracting the tumour response and locating the tumour embedded within realistically shaped life-like breast phantoms. |
