Zusammenfassung: | In this work, we assess the reliability of a general-purpose low-cost Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platform through RF immunity tests carried out under high EM field strength in an anechoic chamber. The assessment is motivated by the need for using UAV platforms to carry out field strength measurements in proximity of high-power radio broadcasting stations. We show that the radio links of the UAV platform under test exhibit a good reliability in terms of out-of-band interference rejection with field strengths of up to 10 V/m, while the sensors and subsystems do not undergo critical failures in static conditions. |
