Low-loss and broadband PLC-type mode (de)multiplexer for mode-division multiplexing transmission

Two types of low-loss and broadband mode (de)multiplexer based on PLC are designed and fabricated. Multiplex/demultiplex of LP 01 and LP 11 modes is achieved with a low loss over a wide wavelength range.
