Zusammenfassung:The frequency-independent strong-signal suppressor (FISSS) uses nonlinear processing plus cancellation techniques to provide substantial interference suppression. Only laboratory proof of its operation exists. Some analytical and simulation inroads are made with emphasis on use of period doubling concepts. Further laboratory measurements were made; on a 1.5 GHz and a 10 GHz device. The 10 GHz device was combined with direct sequence spread spectrum, and had measured processing gains of about 12 dB against CW and frequency modulated single tones. Suppression of AWGN interference of between 6 and 12 dB was measured, depending upon the noise bandwidth.
