Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents the experimental verification of ZVS push-pull converter. The prominence of this topology is to reduce the conduction losses and complexity of the circuit. The push-pull converter is used as DC-DC converter very suitable for low and medium power application. High efficiency, low switching loss and high power density are the predominance of this application. By boosting the switching frequency, high power density has been achieved as well as the complexity of the circuit reduces as size of the components reduced. Thus switching loss is minimized in order to obtain high switching frequency; this can be achieved by ZVS resonant techniques. This reduces switching losses as well as EMI. The aim of this work is to obtain the experimental results of ZVS push-pull DC to DC converter. Here 48V DC is converted into high frequency AC using push-pull inverter. It is stepped down to 12V AC using step down transformer. The 12V AC is converted into DC using a rectifier. The switches of the push-pull converter operate in ZVS condition to reduce the switching loss. The push pull DC to DC converter is constructed and tested. The experimental results are compared with simulation results. |
