Zusammenfassung:The first taut band suspension instrument completely developed, designed, and manufactured in the United States was introduced by the Westinghouse Electric Corporation in June 1958. This instrument, a switchboard type with a d-c moving-coil mechanism and circular scale dial, described in detail in a previous paper,1 has been in full production for commercial and military applications for more than a year.
