Zusammenfassung: | Automating power-distribution systems by microprocessor control and communication technologies, a subject utilities and equipment manufacturers have been investigating and developing for the last 10 years, is a technical answer to the changing economics of production, distribution, and use of electric energy. Rather than managing only the energy supply as they do today ‾ fuel, generation, and transmission ‾ electric utilities will have to control both the supply and the load ‾ the power-distribution system as well as customers' loads. |
