Synthesis of lifting mechanisms for hand pallets trucks

This paper presents the kinematical synthesis of the lifting mechanisms used at hand pallets trucks, so that the platform remains horizontal for any lifting height. Adequate numerical methods (the Newton-Raphson method and the gradient method) are used, so that the platform's deviation from the horizontal position remains minim. Resulting data add their contribution to the fast design of the mechanism, for optimum operating conditions.
