Design and materials for active infrared waveguides based on hybrid/organic materials
This paper presents results about the refractivity tuning in IR emitting organic layers, achieved via photo-patterning. Results are used to design a channel waveguide. Optical field distribution shows a single mode profile at the end facet of the waveguide.
