Ultra-low-crosstalk multi-core fiber realizing space-division multiplexed ultra-long-haul transmission

Recent investigations on inter-core crosstalk of multi-core fibers and our fabricated ultra-low-crosstalk multi-core fiber are reviewed. Crosstalk of the fabricated fiber was considered to be adequately low for ultra-long-haul transmission.
