Synchrotron microspectroscopy of quantum cascade laser devices based on quantum wells and quantum dashes

We apply synchrotron-based Infrared broadband (0.08-1eV) transmission measurements of quantum cascade laser devices based on quantum wells and quantum dashes to determine qualitative and quantitative intersubband gain and waveguide losses.
