Zusammenfassung:The FEM connection scheme is useful for analysing geometrically complex, large cavities. The method results in a reduction in computational complexity and required memory size. This enables the engineer to model moderately large systems on a desktop workstation. Both coupling and scattering problems can be considered using an integral equation method incorporating the cavity admittance matrix for a cavity-backed aperture. We present results for several two- and three-dimensional cavity problems.
