Zusammenfassung:This research gives us the possibility of 3D visualization of the patient's skull who is suffering from brain tumor; rather than the traditional 2D data-set study which is time consuming and requires much expertise. The 3D analysis is carried out by extracting the volume of the skull from the 2D MRI images, which is possible by the use of MRI data set and an integrated software tool called 3D Slicer. Original data set of three patients suffering from solid cumcystic brain tumor is obtained from the radiologist. The technique used is segmentation and model making. By using this technique the physicians and surgeons will be able to make an easy and quick approach to the tumors; which includes the brain as well as the skull based tumors. It is suggested after testing and observing various available methods and algorithms. This will also help in radiotherapy causing lesser risk to brain tissues.
