Zusammenfassung: | The 13th IEEE International Vacuum Electronics Conference and 9th International Vacuum Electron Sources Conference (IVEC-IVESC 2012) will open Tuesday morning, April 24, with a Plenary Session. IVEC was originally created in 2000 by merging the US Power Tube Conference and the European Space Agency TWTA Workshop, and has now expanded to a fully international conference, being held every other year in the US, and in Europe and Asia alternately every fourth year. This conference will be arranged to enhance the presentation and discussion of useful information to manufacturers, device users, academics, and students. Traditionally, the conference attracts a diverse group of attendees. During the meeting and social events, please take the time to reacquaint yourself with friends and colleagues, establish new relationships, and interact with the students. As usual, this web site is your best source of information about IVEC-IVESC 2012, and will continue to serve as a clearinghouse for news and other IVEC/IVESC-related information after the conference, along with the EDS vacuum electronics web site, VacuumElectronics.org. |
