Zusammenfassung: | Multi-band and multi-mode radios are becoming prevalent and necessary in order to provide optimal data rates across a network with a diverse and spotty landscape of (3G, HSPA and LTE) coverage areas. As the number of required bands and modes increases, the aggregate cost of discrete RF signal chains justifies the adoption of tunable solutions. Tunable filters are one of the crucial pieces to signal chain amalgamation. In-circuit filter tuning of tunable filters will be crucial in order to ensure that the absolute tuning accuracy can be achieved despite process, voltage and temperature variations. In this paper, we present state of the art solutions to the problem of on-chip and in-circuit filter tuning. |
