Zusammenfassung: | Manufacturing industries in Malaysia contribute significantly to GDP and national development. These industries are currently facing growing demand for environmentally friendly products amongst consumers. Hence, firms should be concerned about preserving the environment and adopting role in contribution. The green initiatives of these industries will have to be prioritized as more consumers start `going green' in their day to day activities and life style. One way of ensuring that priority is given to green initiatives is for the government to require firms to implement sustainable development as one of their main corporate strategy. The findings revealed that environmental orientation was influenced by the ecological concerns. |
