Zusammenfassung: | Medical knowledge tends to change in its nature, and new medical services are frequently introduced. Component-based system design (CBD) is of great use for creation, maintenance, and update of such medical services, when a component implies a service. In particular, component composition is crucial in CBD to support better and complex medical services, while it requires the developer's high competence and so is complicated and hard. In this respect, there is a need for tools to enable easy component composition. This paper proposes (1) a user interface (UI) helping the developer easily and intuitively organize and compose component elements in healthcare service systems, and (2) its related specification with XML. We will particularly call such a UI and its composition specification developer-friendly environment, The environment has been designed for the development of two vital sign oriented healthcare systems as a particular domain. Such healthcare systems have gradually gained their interests, as a new medical paradigm of ubiquitous healthcare demanding various vital sign data analysis is emerging. |
