Zusammenfassung: | This article analyzes localization of moving targets by means of ultra-wideband sensors which operate in real-time. We assume that the target does not carry any tag and it must be detected and localized by means of electromagnetic waves scattered from it. Furthermore, we assume that the line of sight is completely blocked by obstacles which prohibit direct penetration of electromagnetic waves toward the target. Therefore, the localization is based on three bounce echoes scattered by the target and reflected by a mirroring wall. We performed theoretical analysis of this scenario in terms of the localization precision and the coverage in a specific arrangement. We demonstrate performance of the proposed localization approach on data measured by means of an UWB sensor. |
