Zusammenfassung: | Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized by reduction of silver nitrate using lemon fruit juice. This process for the synthesis of AgNPs is rapid, novel and ecofriendly. Formations of the AgNPs were confirmed by using UV-Vis spectra. The absorbance peaks were obtained between 395 nm and 450 nm which are in confirmation with previous similar investigations. Different conditions of reduction using microwave and direct application of heat were investigated for the formation of AgNPs. The study also revealed that, the degree of hydration after reduction process plays an important role in the dispersion of silver nanoparticles. |
