Zusammenfassung:The fog environment is simulated experimentally to study the effect of fog on atmospheric optical communication. Fog is generated and guided into a sealed channel. Communication experiments are conducted and the influence of fog on signals is observed and measured. The experiments are based on the developed CPLD-based atmospheric optical communication system. The developed communication system is introduced briefly. The received signals passing through the simulated fog environment are denoised by wavelet transform. An amplitude comparator following the wavelet filter is used to recover the transmitted signals effectively.
