Performance of traffic aggregation versus segregation for Optical Flow Switching networks

Short flows are important for Optical Flow Switching (OFS) networks but they suffer from severe round-trip-delay penalty. We show that the OFS performance for short flows can be improved by over 50% using traffic segregation or aggregation.
