Zusammenfassung:In this paper we propose an integrity protection concept based on Trusted Computing. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is used to measure the integrity of the ATM. We show that the measurement results can be reported authentically to the bank and the ATM manufacturer. We also discuss how an integrity evaluation based on the report can be performed - allowing the bank to put an ATM out of operation as an integrity violation is detected. Our solution provides protection against offline attacks performed by insiders.
