Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, we propose a novel control framework for online dynamic resource assignment using a conjunctive and disjunctive rule-based Discrete Event Controller (DEC). The framework includes an energy optimization model which is formulated by linear programming approach, and is solved online using commercial solvers. Dispatching rules are then fired based on the most energy-efficient workflow. Using an industrial case study, a simulation of the proposed energy-driven control framework is presented in the existence of resource degradation or failure. Simulation results show the effectiveness of online dynamic resource assignment in energy optimization with a reduction of 0.162 kWh per work-piece as compared to static resource assignment in existing control methods. |
