Flexible porous polymer photonic bandgap structures for chemical and biomedical sensing

We report novel large-area flexible photonic bandgap (PBG) structures fabricated using holographic interferometry. These flexible PBG structures, based on porous polymeric material, are able to provide tunable photonic responses that are promising for chemical and biomedical sensing applications.
