Zusammenfassung:Since 2005, HealthGrid has focused in the construction and support for the Regional Healthcare Service Platform and Digital Hospital Information Integration Platform. The system platforms are based on the distributive High Productive Grid Supercomputer Systems designed by Dr. Steve Chen, a member of U.S. National Academy of Engineering and American Academy of Arts and Sciences. In order to solve the difficult and expensive medical treatment process for ordinary citizens, China is pushing the center of gravity for national healthcare downward to lower-level healthcare organizations, and moving healthcare focus forward to early prevention, detection and treatment. HealthGrid has developed and deployed six patented application software systems of the service platform, the most representative solutions to meet China government's goals as stated in the National Healthcare Science and Technology Actions Plan.
