Generation of stable UV laser pulses by frequency sum-mixing synchronized Ti:sapphire laser and Nd:YAG laser
Stable UV laser pulses at the wavelength of 321nm is achieved by frequency sum-mixing a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser(532nm, 10Hz) and a Ti:sapphire laser(810nm, 1kHz), which have different pulse width and are synchronized at different repetition rates using electronics. This technique presents a n...

Zusammenfassung: | Stable UV laser pulses at the wavelength of 321nm is achieved by frequency sum-mixing a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser(532nm, 10Hz) and a Ti:sapphire laser(810nm, 1kHz), which have different pulse width and are synchronized at different repetition rates using electronics. This technique presents a novel way to extend laser wavelength range by frequency sum-mixing any two or more synchronized lasers, and it could also be applied to difference frequency generation. |
