Zusammenfassung:In this paper, we investigate the dependability modeling of computer networks with redundancy mechanism. We use Stochastic Petri Net as an enabling modeling approach for analytical evaluation of complex scenarios. We apply our proposed modeling approach in a case study to evaluate the availability of computer networks in four different architectures. Reliability Importance is used to analyze the system availability according to the most important components.
